Our Testimonials
“I just signed… the request to review decision documents for NDIS and yeah there were some good things in there to move forward and I really appreciate the the letter that you guys put forward about my mental health and the extreme fatigue, burn out and the fact that yes, I am waking up to (the participant) at least 2 or 3 times a night if not often more and using a slip sheet to move her around in bed so I appreciate your efforts there because I feel it’s going to help raise awareness to what I actually do as a carer for (the participant) …I think things are just getting missed and that’s what’s happened since we’ve been with NDIS…”

“I am really really happy and really really feel supported…I’m just really grateful for you both. I just wanted to let you know that. And there’s a bit of emotion there because it felt as if things weren’t getting heard or said or understood….it just doesn’t feel that depth that I require and the understanding that you both have about (the participant) and you made them aware and made an effort with. Thank you, it’s a nice feeling and it’s something that I’ve needed since moving here from New Zealand as I have no family support here so it makes it even harder doing it all on my own.”

“Kahui and your organisation. I just want to reach out and thank you from the bottom of my heart for coming into our lives. I have had so many coordinators who have been crap. You are so proactive and you have changed our lives. I actually thank God every day for you. You go over and above. God bless and Thank you so much for being the best support coordinator etc in the world.”

“You guys have really looked after me. I am feeling a lot of relief after this meeting today…I just felt supported, looked after and it’s been a long journey of walking this pathway alone that having someone to back me and just be with me has been amazing. I know you guys are genuine and the work you do I know you are leading with love and purpose I feel that. Feeling super grateful.”

Participant with high-intensity, complex behaviours received 50% increase in core funding, 30 hours for speech therapy, 50% more funding for Behaviour Support, 1:1 respite support (a rare and incredible outcome), Increased support coordination funding.
– Sophie
Participant with Acquired Brain Injury went from isolated, unsure with NDIS funding and no idea how to trust that a support worker would be a good fit to now, they’re doing their shopping trips, reconnecting with family, and joyfully attending weekly Zumba classes and feeling good in their body, making social connections, and getting out into the community without fear of burnout.
– Grace
The participant’s family of a person with complex behaviours was under immense stress and hesitant to engage with service providers after past experiences had left lasting emotional scars.
We aligned closely with the family, the behavior support plan, and the participant’s strengths, creating a foundation of safety, clarity, and collaboration. As a result, the participant completed essential personal care routines and safely accessed the community; something previously unimaginable with unfamiliar support in unfamiliar environments. And the family felt peace of mind”.

A family we support received a new NDIS plan three months ago. We went to battle to justify an increase in support funding. Coordinating with allied health professionals, specialists, multiple letters of support, extensive evidence to support the family. It wasn’t a small adjustment. It was double their previous support funding
